George Baker Selection Little Green Bag

Lookin' back on the track for a little green bag,
Got to find just the kind or I'm losin' my mind

Out of sight in the night out of sight in the day,
Lookin' back on the track gonna do it my way.

Out of sight in the night out of sight in the day,
Lookin' back on the track gonna do it my way.
Lookin' back

Lookin' for some happiness
But there is only loneliness to find
Jump to the left, turn to the right
Lookin' upstairs, lookin' behind, yeah!

Lookin' for some happiness
But there is only loneliness to find
Jump to the left, turn to the right
Lookin' upstairs, lookin' behind.

Lookin' back on the track for a little green bag,
Got to find just the kind or I'm losin' my mind

Out of sight in the night out of sight in the day,
Lookin' back on the track gonna do it my way.

Lookin' back on the track for a little little green bag,
Got to find just the kind or I'm losin' my mind,
Alright.

Lookin' for some happiness
But there is only loneliness to find
Jump to the left, turn to the right
Lookin' upstairs, lookin' behind.

My Life is on HOLD

My life has been on hold because I have been to ill and very tired. For some reason I am not sleeping again and have the issue of not being able to shut my mind down at night. I think about everything to the smallest thing and of course to the biggest things. I wish I knew how to shut it down like a computer or even like you.

No visiting my mother-in-law. No Tuesday movies and I know lots of good movies are out and it is great to get out but I guess when I am locked up inside it just makes things worse for me. The only thing is I feel sick in my tummy and my headaches get worse because of the no sleeping and I have these stupid panic attacks.

I hope next week is better. Please be better.

Crazy Old MAN!

For the last few years here on Larratt I have had to endure my next door neighbour. He is by far the grumpiest man ever!

For the longiest time I could not understand why Phoenix was barking at him, until one day in the summer a few years back. Phoenix was laying in the shade and out of no where started barking and scratching the fence. When I called him to come to me he was wet to the bone.

The old man was watering his garden and had sprayed Phoenix. At the time I thought it was an accident until I noticed it every time I was home from work.

The old man yelled at one day and I told him that Phoenix is barking at him because he was wetting him.

The past two summer have been a nightmare for me. Phoenix will come when I call and stop barking but the old man daughter made a call and out of no where we get our first notice. (the day some crazy man was banging on the door for a full 20 minutes, there was no way I was going to answer the door, not knowing who the hell that was!) Needless to say we were told that the dogs cannot be barking more then minutes at a time, (which they do not do unless someone is a treat to me!)

But the crazy old man is rude and threatening towards me. I have to live with taking a camera every time he is outside and have proof that he is threatening Phoenix and myself.

I have caught he on tape wetting Phoenix and I have told him that I am standing here and that he is wetting Phoenix and me. I told him that I am taping him. He stopped!

It has been so bad this old man yells, threatens and swears in front of his grandchildren that they watch during the days. All of these children are under five years and are repeating everything their grandfather says. Nice way to teach them right from wrong.

Keep you posted on the rest of this hot hot hot summer and the CRAZY OLD MAN!

F my life!

Cafe Fudge Factory

This small Fudge Factory has some BIG taste! Especially for those who have a huge sweet tooth. The small is so inviting you just cannot help but want to taste it. The sugar is insane, a small thin slice on the tip of your tongue just melts away in second.

I have seen people and friends take a good big size bit and eat so much of it, that it made my tummy turn. But I guess that is what it is like to have the sweet tooth and great fudge all rolled and boxed up!

Profound Quotes To Think About

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away

- shing xiong

When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile.

- Unknown

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others' hearts. You'll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you'll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. you just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts. Don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.

Never tell your problems to anyone...20% don't care and the other 80% are glad you have them.

- Lou Holtz

"Eleven Hints for Life"

1. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return.
But what is more painful is to love someone and never
find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

2. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who
means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was
never meant to be and you just have to let go.

3. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a
porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away
feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

4. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose
it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been
missing until it arrives.

5. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an
hour to like someone, and a day to love someone-but it
takes a lifetime to forget someone.

6. Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth,
even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you
smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day
seem bright.

7. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go,
be what you want to be. Because you have only one life and
one chance to do all the things you want to do.

8. Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it
hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.

9. A careless word may kindle strife. A cruel word may wreck
a life. A timely word may level stress. But a loving word may
heal and bless.

10. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best
of everything they just make the most of everything that comes
along their way.

11. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with
a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone
around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die,
you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

- Dr. Seuss

"I always knew looking back on the tears would make me laugh, but I never knew looking back on the laughs would make me cry."

Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt and dance like no one is watching.

When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one that has opened for us.

At a nursing home, there are two very old men who sit on the porch all day and reminisce together about the old days.

They don't realize it, but they have attracted the attention of two elderly women who walk by them. But the ladies go unnoticed due partially to the mens' conversation and bad sight.

The women decide to really get the mens' attention and walk by them naked the next day.

One man turns to the other and says:
"Did you see that?"
The other replies," Sure did."
"What was it?"
"I don't know, but it sure could have used some ironing."

A young man, desperate for water, was plodding through the desert when he saw something far off in the distance. Hoping to find water, he hurried toward the object, only to find a little old man at a small stand selling ties.

The young man asked, "Do you have water?"

The old man replied, "I have no water. Would you like to buy a tie? They are only $5."

The young man shouted, "Idiot! I do not need an overpriced tie. I need Water! I should kill you, but I must find water first."

"OK," said the old man. "It does not matter that you do not want to buy a tie and that you hate me. I will show you that I am bigger than that. If you continue over that hill to the east for about two miles, you will find a restaurant. It has all the ice cold water you need."

Muttering, the young man staggered away over the hill.

Several hours later he staggered back.

"Your f***ing brother won't let me in without a tie."

Crosswords

Lately, I have been into doing crosswords. I started with the paper ones and now I found an app for it for the Ipad. Some of the stuff is super easy while other ones are insane. I have had to look up meanings and answers for the insane ones.

I am definitely learning new things and working my brain and mind so that is a good thing. I wish you could be here to do them with me in the morning over breakfast or on a lazy day.

Ham and Ham Hock Soup

Ginger Glazed Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 (12-pound) joint (mild cure boneless) ham
  • 7 quarts dry ginger ale
  • 1 cup chunky ginger preserves
  • 2 tablespoons hot English mustard
  • 1/2 cup soft dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Cook's Note: If you can not get hold of ginger preserves, you can use ordinary orange marmalade and add 1 teaspoon of dry, ground ginger.

Directions

Place the joint in a large pan over the hob, or burner, and add 7 quarts of dry ginger ale. Bring the pan to the boil then lower the heat slightly so that it keeps bubbling steadily for 4 1/2 hours.

Towards the end of the 4 1/2 hours, preheat the oven to 425 degrees F and begin the glaze.

In a bowl, add 1 cup of chunky ginger preserves. Stir in 2 tablespoons of hot English mustard. Add 1/2 a cup of soft, dark brown sugar and sprinkle in 1/2 a teaspoon of ground cloves.

After 4 1/2 hours, gently lift the ham out of the pan and place on a foil-lined baking tray. Carefully cut away the skin, leaving a thin layer of fat. There is no need to score the surface, simply slap on the glaze and place the tray with the ham into the oven for 20 minutes.

Serve hot or cold.

Split pea soup with ham hocks

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 large onion, finely diced
  • 2 celery stalks, finely diced
  • 2 carrots, finely diced
  • 1-pound bag split peas, rinsed and picked through
  • 1 1/2 pound smoked ham hock
  • 2 quarts chicken stock, water, or combination
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions

In a large saucepan, saute onion, celery and carrots over medium-high heat. Add peas and ham hock and cover with stock by a couple inches. Bring to a simmer and cook about 1 hour until soup is thick and peas have almost disintegrated but not quite. Season, to taste, with salt and pepper. Remove ham hock and let cool. Pull meat from ham hock bone and shred. Garnish with ham and pepper.

Cleansing Diet

  • A cleansing diet is a great way to get in touch with your body and “get back to basics.” Cleansing compels you to give up the bad eating habits that you have developed, replacing them with healthy and natural ways of supplying your body with the nutrients it needs.
Diets that cleanse aid you in having more frequent bowel movements, because they clean your body from the inside. Good detox diets not only rid the body of toxins, but also help you lose weight as well as increasing your energy level.
Remember that your body seeks balance and health naturally. You simply have to allow your body to find the balance Mother Nature intended!
If you are feeling run down, chances are that in the course of your everyday life, your body is absorbing toxins from the atmosphere around you. The air we breathe, the chemicals in our food, the pollutants in the water we drink – all these things take their toll on the body.
Raw food diets not only help you slim down, they also help you to detox your body. A diet plan of organic raw foods is a great way to rejuvenate your body and remove toxins from your system.
There are a number of cleansing diet recipes that you can try to rejuvenate your system and take off pounds at the same time. For example, juicing for weight loss is one good way to detox and cleanse your colon.

    Try the Master Cleanse

The Lemonade Diet, also known as the Master Cleanse Diet, is another recommended method to help your body rid itself of toxins, lose weight, feel healthier and have more energy.
If you want to try it at home, here are the ingredients required for the Master Cleanse:
      master-cleanse-lemonade-diet
    • lemon juice
    • maple syrup
    • pure water
    • cayenne pepper
That’s it! By using these simple ingredients, you can take off weight and reinvigorate your body. It takes about ten days to complete the Lemonade Diet, and it’s important to see it through to the end.

What is the Best Cleansing Diet?

That’s why doing a 7-day or 10-day cleanse is a good way to get back to the basics of eating and drinking only what your body needs. It’s an effective method of weaning yourself from food addictions and breaking bad eating habits.
During an intestinal cleansing, be sure to avoid foods that can cause allergies. For example, meat, eggs and dairy products (especially milk), white sugar and white flour, hydrogenated fats and all kinds of fried foods are basically no-no’s.
Instead, when on a cleansing diet to lose weight you should primarily consume whole grains, organic vegetables, organic fruits, brown rice and beans, and fresh herbs. The more natural your cleansing diet, the better. Also make sure you drink lots of pure water to further flush toxins from your system.

    The Sacred Heart Cleansing Diet

Another diet regimen worth trying is the Sacred Heart Cleansing Diet. This detox diet’s main feature is its vegetable soup, and here’s how you can make it at home:
    cleansing-detox-diet
1 or 2 cans of stewed tomatoes
    2 pounds of carrots
    2 green peppers
    3 large green onions
1 large can of no-fat beef broth
1 package of Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup

Season as you like. Cover the ingredients with water and bring to a boil for 10 minutes. Then cook on low heat for another 20 minutes. Eat as much of this soup as you wish, as it contains very few calories. The more you eat, the more weight you will lose!

Regardless of which diet plan for detoxification you choose, after your cleansing diet is finished, you should have more energy and feel refreshed and revitalized. Then it becomes important to try and maintain these new eating habits for the long-term.
Hopefully, you won’t go back to the habits that got you into trouble in the first place. Eating colon-cleansing foods that help you naturally detoxify should now become a way of life!

Old Book Stores

I am not sure why or ever when it started. Looking old book stores. The smaller the better and the old conditions of the books, I like too. I think some of it has to do with the people who have read them and how long ago. How many years have past? How long did they have the book? And where was the book? How many places has the book travelled?

Books have stories but more then we really know. It is not just the stories the lay on the pages but rather, the stories that are untold be the readers. I think about silly things like that. The history of unknown people and how book made them feel.

I guess I am just an really old soul or just crazy. Which ever one you think to be true is fine with me.

Superstitions and their origins -13 of them

The number 13 - The belief that the number 13 is unlucky is so widespread that its origins are unclear - different theories link it to Christian tradition (related to the Last Supper, where Judas is said to have sat at the thirteenth place at the table); Viking lore (the trickster god Loki being the thirteenth god); and the Persian zodiac (in which there are 12 signs, leaving the number 13 to represent chaos.) The specific fear of Friday the 13th dates back to the 19th century, combining two old superstitions: the fear of the number 13 with the belief that Fridays are unlucky days. The morbid fear of the number 13 is technically known as "triskaidekaphobia", and is so common that many buildings have no Floor 13 - going straight from 12 to 14.

Black cats - have long been seen in Western cultures as an omen of bad luck - they have long been associated with witches, and many cultures believe that a black cat crossing your path means you will suffer disaster or even death. Gamblers are especially fearful of the black cat curse - many of them believe that if they see a black cat while going to a casino, they should abandon their plans to gamble there. However, it's not all bad news for the black cats; in some cultures, including in Japan, Great Britain and Ireland, the opposite is true, and black cats are said to bring good luck.

The Scottish Play - Actors can be a superstitious group - and nowhere is that more apparent than around Shakespeare's play Macbeth (seen above, Ian McKellen and Judi Dench in a 1976 production of the play.) The superstition holds that saying 'Macbeth' in a theatre (outside of actually performing the play itself) will bring misfortune on the production - instead, actors will simply call it 'The Scottish Play'. Productions of Macbeth are said to have been magnets for disaster from its very first performance - when legend has it the lead actor was killed when a real dagger was used instead of a stage prop.

The other best-known actorly superstition is that wishing someone 'good luck' before they go on stage will actually bring them the opposite - so instead actors tell each other to 'break a leg', on the grounds that wishing them bad fortune will presumably also bring about the opposite. The exact origins of this superstition are unclear, but it's thought to have originated in the 1920s.

Dead man's hand - The Dead Man's Hand - a pair of black eights and a pair of black aces, plus a fifth unspecified card - is widely held to be an unlucky hand in poker (even though it's actually a pretty good hand). Why? Because legend has it that those were the cards held by Wild Bill Hickok, the famous Wild West lawman and gunslinger, when he was shot and killed while playing poker in Deadwood in 1876. There's little actual evidence that the story's true - no contemporary accounts say what cards he was holding - but that hasn't stopped superstitious gamblers believing it. If you ever see a character in a film get dealt this hand, there's a good chance they'll meet a sticky end very soon.

Crossing fingers - Crossing your fingers to wish for good luck (or, secretly, to get you out of keeping a promise) is common around the world - but its origins are unclear. It seems to be most common in Christian countries, suggesting that it's related to the Christian sign of the cross. However, other suggestions include it being an old Pagan or Norse gesture, or possibly a good luck superstition created by archers during the 'Hundred Year War' between England and France (archers used their two main fingers to draw back their bow.)

Broken mirrors - It's a common superstition that a broken mirror will result in seven years bad luck - it's thought this belief can be traced back to the idea that a mirror captures part of your soul. So when a mirror breaks, part of your soul gets broken too. That's also why some cultures cover up all mirrors and reflective surfaces in a house where someone has died - so their soul can leave the building without getting trapped in the mirror.

Groundhog Day - The superstition that a large rodent can predict the weather (if he sees his shadow, there'll be an early spring; if he doesn't, there's six more weeks of winter) might seem ridiculous. But that doesn't stop it being extremely popular in the US and Canada - even more so since one of the most famous groundhogs, Punxsutawney Phil of Pennsylvania, was immortalised in the film (above) of the same name. The tradition of animals' shadows predicting the coming of actually dates back to an old German superstition around Candlemas Day, which was brought to the Americas by Germanic immigrants.
But how good is Punxsutawney Phil's record as a meteorologist? Pretty bad, actually - according to the Stormfax Weather Almanac, tracing his record for over a century, he's only been right 39 per cent of the time.

Spilled Salt - It's an old superstition that accidentally spilling salt is a bad omen: it's said that it draws its origins from the Christian tradition, due to Judas Iscariot having supposedly spilled salt at the Last Supper shortly before he betrayed Jesus. In fact, its origins are probably much more pragmatic: until recently, salt was really expensive, so spilling it was already rather unlucky. It was also used as a sign of friendship and hospitality - spilling salt offered to you by your host was a bad sign.
Much like black cats, spilled salt can work both ways - another common superstition holds that throwing a pinch of salt over your left shoulder brings good luck and wards off evil.

666 - Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia - that's the technical name for the fear of the number 666, otherwise known as the Number of the Beast. This superstition undeniably comes from Christianity - the number is mentioned as being representative of Satan in the Biblical Book of Revelations. It's gained in popularity through being heavily featured in films like The Omen (above), and was taken so seriously by former US President Ronald Reagan that when he moved into a private house at the end of his presidency, he had the street number changed from 666 to 668.
However, it might be that everyone's got it wrong all this time - in 2005, a group of scholars announced that they discovered evidence that the number was originally supposed to be 616, not 666.

Walking under ladders - Walking underneath a ladder is widely held to be bad luck. Despite some theories suggesting that this is to do with the triangle formed by a ladder representing the Christian Holy Trinity, the most likely explanation is far more simple and obvious: walking under laddders is quite dangerous. It's actually just sensible health and safety advice dressed up as a superstition.

Chain Letters - Chain letters are an old phenomenon, dating back to at least 1888 - letters that ask the recipient to copy them and pass them on, often warning the superstitious that some terrible fate will await them if they don't (often giving examples of bad things that have happened to people who didn't forward them.) And the arrival of email and then social networks - making it even easier to pass messages along - has only increased the popularity of chain mail. While many chain letters are money-making scams, the reasons behind the more superstitious ones are unclear... beyond a simple desire to see how far something will spread.

The Black Witch - The Black Witch moth (Ascalapha odorata) is seen as an omen of death and misfortune in superstitions across the Caribbean, Central and South America. In Mexico, it's believed that one of the moths flying into the house of someone who is sick means that their death is close; in Jamaica, where it's known as the 'duppy bat', it's thought to be a lost soul and bring bad luck with it. While this moth gets singled out for superstition, it's not alone - moths of all kinds have long been associated with death in Central American cultures.
The Black Witch was featured in a gruesome manner in the novel The Silence of the Lambs - but was replaced with the Death's Head moth in the film version, presumably because that moth looks scarier.

Lack of Sleep

These last few days have to awful for me. I have not been able to sleep, again. I do not now how it happened, it just came out of no where. My mind has be in over drive and it has been one nightmare over another.

I think about the simple little things to the biggest things that go on in my life. All of a sudden one hour leads to 24, 48 and then POW 72 hours with no sleep. My body gets so cold because I so tired. I worse part is that I never remember what I was stressing about because there was just to much going through my mind. I do not know what caused or trigger it in the first place.

I finally crushed and my body said that is enough. I wish I understood this illness better and could push to away.

I am sorry it did not work out for you. I know you played your best and hope that you are not to hard on yourself. You will be heading home and will start back on your healthy choice routines. I know how much you hate the unhealthy style you have lived down in Vegas for the past couple of months.

Have a safe trip home and take care of you.

Everybody Knows Concrete Blonde ( Love this song)

Everybody knows the dice are loaded,
Everybody rolls with they're fingers crossed,
Everybody knows that the war is over,
Everybody knows that the good guys lost,
Everybody knows the fight is fixed,
The poor stay poor an the rich get rich,
Thats how it goes,

Everybody knows the boat is sinking,
Everybody knows that the captin lied,
Everybodys got this broken feeling,
like they're momma or they're dog just died,
Everybodys hands are in they're pockets,
Everybody wants a box of choclates an a long stemed rose,
Everybody knows,

Everybody knows,
Everybody knows,
Thats how it goes,
Everybody knows,

Everybody knows,
Everybody knows,
Thats the way it goes,
Everybody knows,

Everybody knows that its now or never,
Everybody knows that its me or you,
Everybody knows that you live forever,
Ya maybe had a line or two,
Everybody knows the deal is rotten,
Old black Joe's still pickin' cotton for your ribbons and bows,

Everybody knows you love me baby,
Everybody knows you really do,
Everybody knows that you been faithful,
Give or take a night or two,
Everybody knows you been discreet,
So many people you had to meet without your clothes,
and everybody knows,

Everybody knows,
Everybody knows,
Thats the way it goes,
Everybody knows,

Everybody knows,
Everybody knows,
Thats how it goes,
Everybody knows,

Everybody knows,
Everybody knows,
Thats how it goes,
Everybody knows.

I feel fine?

    broken, crushed, emotions, feelings, fine

I wish I could really say that I do feel fine but that would not be the truth. Some days are better then other days but feeling sick is definitely not helping things. I hurt inside because I still feel like I am stuck in the mourning process and just wish for some peace. I am not sure how to fully let go and I am not sure if I could if I did know how.

Some days are a blink to me and sometimes. I do think way to much about things that should be left in the past but that - forgetting - that pains me to much to even consider it! Even if all the books say you have to or all the people around me say I must.

Life can be cold and cruel when it comes to darkness, love and lost.

Art - What do you see?

girl, face paint, paint, skull, white and black
Art can be found in the most odd places. It can be anything. This girls paint face of a skull, it is beautiful to me but perhaps not to many others. Beauty is rare and each person (s) will find beauty in many different things.
art, colors, landscapes, love, manWhat we see is always going to be something different from another person, which is a good thing. After all life would be very boring if everyone liked the same things. I mean, if you think about it you cannot have everything thing in common with another person. You want something's to be very different because it is the differences that make your relationship different and exciting. You keep the other person on their toes and learn so many new things.
art, eiffel tower, figurine, paintings, parisArt can be colourful, dark, moody, hopeful, sexy, simple or crazy. It can be done by professionally or not. It could be thought out or perhaps a hot mess. It could be a painting, a drawing, a tattoo, a photograph or many other things. Art is what you believe in your mind that makes it art.
crying, eye, girl, sad, sadnessYou may have it at work, your home, car or on your cell phone. It is everywhere you look and it will always be around forever.
Art makes you feel something. Maybe you feel sadness, angry or happiness while you may feel one way another person will feel something different.

Enjoy the art you see all around.

    America Horse With No Name

    Songwriters: BUNNELL, DEWEY
    A Horse With No Name

On the first part of the journey,
I was looking at all the life.
There were plants and birds. and rocks and things,
There was sand and hills and rings.
The first thing I met, was a fly with a buzz,
And the sky, with no clouds.
The heat was hot, and the ground was dry,
But the air was full of sound.

I've been through the desert on a horse with no name,
It felt good to be out of the rain.
In the desert you can remember your name,
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain.
La, la, la la la la, la la la, la, la
La, la, la la la la, la la la, la, la

After two days, in the desert sun,
My skin began to turn red.
After three days, in the desert fun,
I was looking at a river bed.
And the story it told, of a river that flowed,
Made me sad to think it was dead.

You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name,
It felt good to be out of the rain.
In the desert you can remember your name,
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain.
La la, la, la la la la, la la la, la, la
La la, la, la la la la, la la la, la, la

After nine days, I let the horse run free,
'Cause the desert had turned to sea.
There were plants and birds, and rocks and things,
There was sand and hills and rings.
The ocean is a desert, with it's life underground,
    And a perfect disguise above.
Under the cities lies, a heart made of ground,
But the humans will give no love.

You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name,
It felt good to be out of the rain.
In the desert you can remember your name,
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain.

La la, la, la la la la, la la la, la, la

    hurdy gurdy man

Thrown like a star in my vast sleep
I opened my eyes to take a peek
To find that I was by the sea
    Gazing with tranquility

'Twas then when the Hurdy Gurdy Man
    Came singing songs of love
Then when the Hurdy Gurdy Man
    Came singing songs of love

"Hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy gurdy" he sang
"Hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy gurdy" he sang
"Hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy gurdy" he sang

    Histories of ages past
Hung in light and shadows cast
    Down through all eternity
    The crying of humanity

'Tis then when the Hurdy Gurdy Man
    Comes singing songs of love
Then when the Hurdy Gurdy Man
    Comes singing songs of love

"Hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy gurdy" he sang
"Hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurd
Hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy gurdy" he sang

"Hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy gurdy" he sang
Here comes the Roly Poly Man
    He's singing songs of love
"Roly poly, roly poly, holy poly poly" he sang
"Hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy gurdy" he sang
"Hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy gurdy" he sang

    All I Want Is You - U2

    You say you want
Diamonds on a ring of gold
    You say you want
    Your story to remain untold

But all the promises we make
From the cradle to the grave
When all I want is you

    You say you'll give me
A highway with no one on it
Treasure just to look upon it
All the riches in the night

    You say you'll give me
Eyes in a moon of blindness
A river in a time of dryness
    A harbour in the tempest
But all the promises we make
From the cradle to the grave
When all I want is you

    You say you want
Your love to work out right
To last with me through the night

    You say you want
Diamonds on a ring of gold
    Your story to remain untold
Your love not to grow cold

    All the promises we break
From the cradle to the grave
When all I want is you

    You...all I want is...
    You...all I want is...
    You...all I want is...
    You...
