The Junk

This friend of a friend is worry about his 5 year old son's penis? He thinks it is growing in twisted? What a freak! This guy is ridiculous! Who says stuff like that out LOUD? I have no idea!

What a thing to worry about. I mean is it really necessary to think about his son that way. He is so that his son will not have good sex relationships because the girls will be scared off by the looks of his junk!

Somehow I think this poor child will be just fine, although perhaps he is going to therapy after learning that his own father think his junk is not good enough for the ladies.

Maybe he has a problem with his own junk! Just a guess. He needs therapy. Leave the poor child alone! Get help! LOL!

You are insane! I looked it up and the following came up! Apparently is worries a lot of people. They are all insane!

Fall Line Up

Revenge is back on and it was a great first episode! I am looking forward to more of it. Person of Interest is also back and Scandal, too. Along with many other good show, like Grey's Anatomy which I still cannot believe that Lacy and Mark were killed off the show.

Once upon a time is back and it looks great, too. Amazing Race gives another twist. Two million if you come in first in the first race and first in the last race. That would be something, if only!

New shows have started as well. Last Resort? I am not sold on that one but I will give it another go. 666 Avenue looks interesting. Mob Doctor will not last! Elementary, looks good also but I have a feeling that it will not make it. Vegas, base on true events is a good thing, however I think it may not go that far but I could be wrong. Made in Jersey is going to tank!

Blue bloods, CSI and CSI NY, New Girl and Criminal Minds is going strong alone with others. The Bachelor Canada wow we really need another one of those?

We all have our favourites and we enjoy getting lost in the shows with our peoples. Enjoy another Fall Line Up Season.

Farewell My Love-By Joanna Fuchs

Is it really true our love is over now?
Can it be time for us to say goodbye?
Too soon, it's much too soon, my love, for me;
You smile with ease, but I can only sigh.

We've shared our lives and given so much love;
I can't believe we're really going to part;
You're moving toward a new life without me;
I'm left with scars upon my broken heart.

Go on now, if you must; I'll get along;
How much it hurts, I don't want you to know.
I'll set you free without inducing guilt,
But as you leave, the silent tears will flow.

I can't be mad; I love you way too much;
I'll hide my sadness now, so you can't tell.
Sweet happiness is what I wish for you;
Farewell my love, I hope that you fare well.

To Hell with the Time Machine

Richard Faulk

Is it premature for your Time Travel Correspondent to make a confession? Will my further temporal speculations be tainted by the specter of bad faith — that is, if I admit here from the outset my conviction that none of us will ever live to see an actual time machine?

Certainly, time travel is theoretically possible. And whatever physicists are allowed to do, they seem eventually to get around to doing. But every technique so far conjectured for manipulating time requires at least one, shall we say, outré condition — such as the harnessing of a black hole, which risks engulfing the earth and crushing it into oblivion; or the accelerating of a wormhole to near light speed, which could consume nearly all the energy in the universe; or the encasing of our would-be chrononaut in a sort of minivan with the space–time-bending density of Jupiter, which is just crazy talk.
timetravelclock 300x300 To Hell with the Time Machine
My mother’s afraid to pump gas, and she won’t drive on the freeway. One day she’s going to be surfing time on the back of a black hole? Call me a defeatist, but I don’t see it happening.

But let us shed no tears for the time machine. In fact — if I may continue to be utterly candid with you — in my view, these yet-to-be-invented gimmicks of some infinitely distant future are already passé. An embarrassment. An albatross around the neck, like that Friendster account that’s still garnering sporadic e-mails from Brandi69, who says she’s seen your profile pic and likes to party with older men.

Yes: To Hell with the time machine, I say. For I have seen the history of innovation, and I know where this story ends.

Humanity is gifted with a marvelous capacity for adaptation and innovation. But the flipside of the bargain is a staggering propensity for complacency. We’re restless and self-satisfied at the same time. We crave novelties and conveniences, which we immediately take for granted, noticing them only through the indignation we feel when the NPR stream keeps overloading the router, so you have to reach across the desk and turn on the tinny-sounding, god-damned clock-radio instead. For instance.
And so it always has been, from cell phones and cable TV, to indoor plumbing and the wheel. Yesterday’s miracle of innovation becomes today’s high-end convenience and tomorrow’s mundanity.
Doubtlessly, any real-life time machine would debut amid a welter of messianic promises. But what would we actually do with one?

Would we go back and preserve papyruses from the library at Alexandria? Would we try to warn Moctezuma that Cortés was not in fact a god, but a very bad man? Or would we even just go back to see if it’s Cleopatra or Lillie Langtry who rates as the hottest woman of all time?

Consider this, you who would unlock history’s secrets: It is humiliating and exhausting enough to travel around present-day Europe with a phrase book and a distant memory of sophomore French. Now imagine that Europe had never seen a TV. Would you really have anything to say to each other? Would you even have enough cultural common ground to be intelligible at all? Rather than appearing as omniscient demigods among superstitious children, we visitors from the future would more likely be regarded as stammering imbeciles. Our pleas not to vote Hitler ’33 would be dismissed as lunatic ravings.

Thus, I suspect that any initial vogue for hard-core time travel would pass quickly. As we adjusted to our new role as consumers of temporal displacement technologies, it’s the time machine that would be domesticated to serve the tyranny of daily life, and not our lives that would be expanded and enriched by the miracle of time travel.

Eager children, for example, would nudge Christmas closer. College students could get that extra day to finish a term paper, and then jump directly from a sober afternoon to an evening of legless drunkenness, without the intervening tedium of half a dozen Red Bull and vodkas. Parents would visit the future grandchildren they’ve given up demanding in the here-and-now. And Republican stalwarts could bask in the sunshine of Reagan’s Morning in America, eternally prolonged.

Of course, there would be those individuals who’d go ride the Oregon Trail or march with Alexander on Persepolis — they’re the same people who today climb K2 or canoe the Amazon. The fact is, any one of us could fly to Nepal and explore the Himalayas if we wanted to, right now. It’s just the case that most of don’t — not when we can opt for putting granite countertops in the kitchen.

And once it got to that point, once the time machine became the Travertine tile of its day, the inevitable backlash would set in.

Just as the skips and scratches and staticky pops of vinyl were rendered charming in the face of the MP3’s frigid clarity, temporal connoisseurs in the age of time travel will extol previously unrecognized virtues of living in the present. They would savor time’s very slowness, marvel at the exquisite unfolding of causality, and boggle at the subtle profundity in what you and I today call “boredom.”

For indeed, is there not something Philistine about jumping time, willy-nilly? Forever cutting to the chase, voyeuristically peering into the future, or reliving past glories on an endless loop. Isn’t that almost the definition pornography, to rush directly and capriciously to history’s climaxes, unearned and excised from any context or consequences?

Which brings us back to the point where we started — to a point that we, in fact, have never left through the course of these lengthy reflections — the inauspicious present. Life isn’t an orgy of experience. Our triumphs are small and seldom, punctuated by long periods of routine. But without the overlooked mid-tones, highlights and shadows lose their definition. Our lives would become a meaningless muddle of gray.

Lady Antebellum - Need You Now

Picture perfect memories scattered all around the floor.
Reaching for the phone 'cause I can't fight it anymore.
And I wonder if I ever cross your mind?
For me it happens all the time.

[Chorus:]
It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now.
Said I wouldn't call but I've lost all control and I need you now.
And I don't know how I can do without.
I just need you now.

Another shot of whiskey, can't stop looking at the door.
Wishing you'd come sweeping in the way you did before.
And I wonder if I ever cross your mind?
For me it happens all the time.

[Chorus:]
It's a quarter after one, I'm a little drunk and I need you now.
Said I wouldn't call but I've lost all control and I need you now.
And I don't know how I can do without.
I just need you now.

Oh whoa
Yes I'd rather hurt than feel nothing at all.

[Chorus:]
It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now.
And I said I wouldn't call but I'm a little drunk and I need you now.
Well I don't know how I can do without.
I just need you now
I just need you now.
Oh baby I need you now.

By Half Baked the cake blog

Strawberry Lemonade Cupcakes
{makes 24 cupcakes or 16 cupcakes in a jar}
For the cake:
2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup lemonade powder mix (I used Country Time)
1 cup milk
3 Tbsp lemon juice (juice of 1 lemon)
1 Tbsp lemon zest (zest of 1 lemon)
1 tsp vanilla
lemonheads (optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line muffin pans with cupcake liners
  2. In medium bowl mix together dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, lemonade powder and lemon zest, set aside.
  3. In bowl of stand mixer cream butter and sugar on medium speed until combined.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition and scraping down sides of bowl as needed.
  5. Add the lemon juice and vanilla and mix well.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients and milk, alternating starting and ending with the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  7. Fill cupcake liners about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Let cupcakes cool in pans for 5 minutes, then remove to wire rack to finish cooling.
  10. Once cupcakes are completely cool, ice with Strawberry Lemon Frosting and garnish with a lemonhead on top.
For the frosting:
2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
4 cups confectioner’s sugar
3 Tbsp strawberry puree (from about 3-4 strawberries)
1 tsp lemon zest
  1. In bowl of stand mixer cream butter for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Gradually add confectioner’s sugar and continue mixing scraping down sides of bowl as needed.
  3. Mix in strawberry puree and lemon zest.
  4. Place the icing in a piping bag fitted with tip 1M to decorate cupcakes.
To create a cupcake in a jar:
  1. Slice cupcake in half with serrated knife. You will need one and a half cupcakes (3 pieces) for each jar.
  2. Place half a cupcake in the bottom of the jar and add a dollop of icing on top. Repeat two more times with cake and icing.
  3. Garnish with a lemonhead on top.
  4. For extra cuteness add a plastic straw.
I hope you enjoy this combination of sour & sweet!

Dooms Day

Today is the last day and tomorrow is the day we are suppose to move. I have been on the telephone all morning to book appointments to see houses because the damn a** agent is doing nothing about it. The surprising thing is that I am getting returned calls. Seems like the other agents work on the weekends, after all.

What are we going to do? I cannot believe how hard everything has been this far. No good luck at all. How is that possible?

Serving Suggestion

For added colour and flavour, top individual bowls of chili with sour cream, Oscar Mayer Real Bacon Bits and/or coarsely crushed Premium Plus Crackers.

1 Day!

To move! Which is funny because there is NO WHERE TO MOVE TO! I cannot believe how much bad luck I am having with this house hunting. People do not know how to do their jobs. We cannot be the only one out there with pets. But of course that is not the only reason for not having a place. Betweens delays and  out bids I just want to scream my head off.

Someone better to his job I cannot do all of it for him.(Agent).

Damage is greater

Everyone has their breaking point one way or another, at any given time or when they have been push to their limit. Some will take it out on the ones they are close to. They may regret their actions at some point but it may be to late to fix when has occurred.

So, the questions are racing though each person mind of how fix, repair or forget - forgive but no matter how sorry you may be -sorry just does not cut it anymore. To the damage is done and forgiveness is no where to be found. I am damaged behind repair due to the mistakes that have been made and at the hands of others.

Pool

I have been playing pool off and on growing up. When I was in my teens I was a pool shark! Over time others were better but lately I have been doing well. Holding my own, who knew. I always liked the game. It has been fun to play a little now and again.

Crossing fingers, grab to hope

The Loaded CupCakes is starting to have more orders. Could this be a start to something good? I hope so. I would to have one thing that is good in my life after losing much. I would like to be able to do my own thing and it be something I enjoy doing.

I need to keep myself busy with this and the move because I am feeling lost and out of control. So much darkness fills my mind and I am not able to turn it off. I am not okay and think of him often. I wish I could have that life back.

Packing - 8 - Living Room

I cannot count how many times I have moved in my lifetime. It has been just some many times. One of the worse move was to a shelter it was just my mother, new born brother and myself. A few days later both my brother and my mother were missing and I was left behind. I was 13 years old and I still went to school and did not tell anyone. I am not sure how many days or weeks it was that I was there alone but I remember my grandfather coming to get me and I moved in with him. It was the first time I knew that I had a home and a roof over my head. I did not have to worry where I was going to wake up in the morning or where to go afternoon school.

I have packed up the living. I keep moving from room to room and I am holding onto so many memories. We had an Halloween Engagement party here, many sleep overs, movie nights and a few party. Family events and many bbq's. We got Phoenix and Hugoboss as well as the kittens.

We also had many heartache here. Lots of fights and hurtful words were said in this house along with broken things and scars. So many scars. At one point one person made things better but that ended fast.

 all packed up!

Packing - 5 - My Office

I have reached the 30 marker not that I really know what that means. But I keep adding photos to twitter, instagram and facebook for the loaded cupcakes. Cannot wait to see what will happen, next.

Bad day

Not a very good day for me. I am over emotional, tired and feel so sick. It has been a very long week with packing and family issues. I wish there was a bottom that I could turn myself off for the day, may be a few days. But I need it to pause time, real life time so that I do not fall behind in the real world.
