Poison Cupcakes

We all have that one teacher that we don’t like. It’s a fact of life: you’re going to come across some teachers with whom you won’t click with, but one day, you’ll thank them. Typically, their brutality is them trying to get you to reach your full potential. Unfortunately, three fifth-grade California students took their dislike of a teacher way too far after they tried to kill her with rat poison!

The students slipped the rat poison into their teacher’s coffee, but then one of the students had second thoughts and knocked the coffee cup out of the her hands just as she was about to drink it.

Two months later, the students gave it a second attempt and mixed some poison with some frosting and served it on a cupcake. But by that time, the teacher knew better than to accept food from those three.

Perhaps the craziest thing is that two months passed between the coffee incident and the cupcake! The school and other students knew all about it but didn’t do a thing to stop the kids until after the second attempted murder.

The moral to this story: if you see a classmate trying to kill your teacher (or anyone, really), say something! Tell an adult who you know will take action. You could save someone’s life. Also, if you don’t like your teacher, don’t poison them. Because that’s mean…and a criminal offense.
