Total Re(k)all

I saw this movie last night and it was good. It was closer to the tale of the short story. I liked the way the cities were done, the music and the fights with Kate were good as well.

Total Recall is a 2012 American science fiction action film remake of the 1990 film of the same name, in turn loosely based on the 1966 short story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" by Philip K. Dick. Unlike the original film and short story, the plot for the 2012 film does not include a trip to Mars,[2] and exhibits more political overtones. The film blends Western and Eastern influences together, due to the fact that the dominant two nation states in the story, United Federation of Britain and The Colony, are battling for political power.
It is directed by Len Wiseman, written by Mark Bomback, James Vanderbilt, and Kurt Wimmer, starring Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, John Cho, and Bill Nighy. It was first announced in 2009.[3] It was released in the United States and Canada on August 3, 2012[4] while it is scheduled to be released in the United Kingdom and Ireland on 29 August 2012 and Australia on September 6, 2012.
